Maybe the 2nd time they played outside the Detroit area, as an opening band of a 3-band show. About 10 people had shown up by the end of their set. Fellow Detroit band The Hentchmen were the headlining band, and both came to Cleveland jammed into the Hentch’s 70’s era van. Here Meg is playing the Hentchmen’s drums because there was no room for 2 kits in the van.

This is possibly the best record I own. White stripes’ “elephant” is the album I taught myself to play guitar too. It is timeless and perfect. I find myself in love every time the needle drops onto it. I wish I could personally thank jack and meg white for such an album. If it weren’t for this record, I wouldn’t be playing music and want to pursue my dreams. So thank you. And this is the three best songs that are on it, all on the same side.
